Letterpress Poster
This piece was a genuine joy to work on from original concept to final product. It was a class assignment to learn how to create plates from our designs and to operate a vintage letterpress machine. I chose copper for the typewriters to give it an old-fashioned feel and a warm grey for the script. I love to write and I’ve always loved old typewriters, and it was great to get hands-on training on this amazing and fun printing technique.
