River Hog Flapjacks

This was a school assignment for a Package Design class. The challenge was to create a package design for a pancake mix that would appeal to a younger audience than its typical competitors. I decided on having bacon bits in the mix, and give it a lumberjack theme (came from lumberjack breakfast, which typically includes pancakes). In the early 1900s, a Canadian logger employed in driving logs down a river was known as a river hog, and so the title River Hog Flapjacks was born! It was a lot of fun to see this project go from initial sketches to the finished product.
